The Princeton Review of 2010 ranked Hoboken at #12 as the best college town in the United States. The Urban Land Institute ranked Hoboken’s Pier A Park as one of top 10 urban parks in the country. In 2008 it was ranked the #1 city for Singles in the country and also one of the top 10 best places to “ride out the gas crunch” by the Money Magazine. In the Fall of 2010, the League of American Cyclist presented Hoboken the “Honorable Mention” in the Bicycle Friendly Communities listing. In the same year the American Planning Association listed Hoboken’s Washington Street as one of the Top 10 Great Streets for 2010.
